Those who strive for greatness but fall short are as Jim Collins explains in his book Good to Great, “For these people, work will always be first and foremost about what they get – fame, fortune, accolades, power, whatever – not what they build, create and contribute.” He goes on to say, “The great irony is that often, the personal ambition that often drive people to positions of power stand at odds with the humility required for (greatness) Level 5 Leadership.”
